GEOG 3990 – Natural and Not-So-Natural Disasters and the Mess They Create – Fall 2021
There is no such thing as a natural disaster. Through this course, students will explore the complex interconnectedness between human impacts on the environment, earth system dynamics, and the social calculus that determines who lives and who dies.
Prerequisite: Completion of 30 credits (any discipline) or permission of instructor.
